How does it work?
When your experience is live on Truestory, getting happy customers from us, can happen in one of two ways:
A) Booking through Truestory Booking.
When booking is handled through Truestory Booking, via allotment of availability or integration to your system, it allows us to offer an instant booking option to the customer. This usually means that sales volume will double compared to booking directly through (option B). View an example of an experience with instant booking here.
A booking is made for one of the available dates/events for your experience.
You will receive a booking notification with all necessary information about the submitted booking.
At the date of the experience, you deliver the customer(s) a great and memorable experience. Afterwards, our system automatically redeems the tickets from the event and prepares everything for your payout.
We transfer the outstanding balance once a month. At the same time a payout receipt/invoice is generated and added to your partner site.
View event details
When a booking is submitted through Truestory, the booking will be available in the Truestory Admin interface, under the related event.
Create a new event
Creating new events/dates needs to be easy, for you to maintain your calendar easily and frictionless.
B) Booking directly through you, as the host
If it is not possible to make allotments to our system or a direct integration, this option is the alternative. This is a good way to get live on Truestory and still get a good flow of happy customers to you. View an example of a gift-only experience here.
Redeeming a ticket When a customers book an experience, they receive a ticket. If booking is handled through you directly, this is how you redeem that ticket.
